GlassBeats

Music application for Google Glass

Making music with head movements

GlassBeats essentially turns the Google Glass into a midi controller. The prototype shown here pairs the Glass with Ableton Live and an intuitive interface, acting as a live looper with built in effects that can be controlled via head movements.

Born at the Google Glass Hackathon in Tel Aviv, where it won first place, this video of GlassBeats was taken at the DevCon 2014 conference in Israel, where I showcased the application’s beta version by beatboxing to a room full of techies.
