Airstrument

Turn Motion Into Music - Augmented Reality Sound

The Airstrument is a wearable, motion-controlled instrument that makes playing music as intuitive as moving your hands.

The video above is taken from my talk on the main stage of re:publica 2016 in Berlin.

Airstrument’s prototype was developed in collaboration with Ronen Peri and the support of #MusicBricks, Music Tech Fest and the European Union.

It was later accepted into the MassChallenge global accelerator, where I focused on its potential as a physical rehabilitation device. It is already being tested as a musical, gamified platform for hand rehabilitation in collaboration with hospitals and NGOs in Israel, India and Costa Rica.
